
On November 17, 2024, families, students, and faculty
members of Niña Maria Learning Center came together to celebrate a remarkable
Family Day event that embodied unity, fun, and community spirit. The event
aimed to strengthen family bonds and create lasting memories, providing
enjoyment for every family in attendance.
The day began with an inspiring Walk of Gratitude early in
the morning, igniting an atmosphere charged with excitement and warmth.
As attendees arrived at the Lestonnac Youth Center, they were greeted with a comforting meal of arroz caldo with egg, accompanied by a variety of traditional Filipino delicacies (kakanin) and hot drinks. This hearty meal fueled the day’s activities, as families gathered in their booths to engage and connect. |

At 8:30 AM, they kicked off the formal program with an
Opening Prayer led by a Grade 6 parent, followed by a resounding rendition of
the National Anthem, sung with pride and unity by everyone in attendance.
Mrs. Rocsan A. Reyes, the PTC Board President, delivered compelling Welcome Remarks, expressing heartfelt gratitude and enthusiasm for the day's agenda.
Dr. Maria Flerida T. Nery, the Principal of Niña Maria Learning Center, reinforced the significance of family. Her message highlighted how events like Family Day fortify the relationships that empower them as a cohesive and supportive community.

The highly anticipated Variety Show commenced with an
abundance of energy and enthusiasm. The event showcased vibrant dance
performances by both students and parents, impressive Taekwondo and Karate
demonstrations, captivating singing acts, a father-son duet, and an enchanting
mandolin performance by Sr. Tran Thi Thuy Tram.Attention shifted to exciting games for students and
parents, promoting a strong sense of fun and camaraderie. These activities
encouraged families to collaborate, cheer each other on, and enjoy quality time
together.

After a morning filled with excitement, the day transitioned
to a delightful lunch, where families savored delicious food in the company of
their loved ones.
The excitement soared with a riveting Magic Show, featuring a
professional magician who mesmerized the audience with extraordinary tricks and
illusions. Children and adults alike were spellbound as objects vanished,
reappeared, and transformed before their very eyes.
As the program concluded, Sr. Maria Lilian S. Espedilla took
the stage for the Closing Remarks, delivering a powerful message of thanks to
everyone for their active participation and support, which unequivocally made
Family Day 2024 a remarkable success.
