World Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on October 5, but since it falls on Sunday this year, Niña Maria Learning Center celebrated it on October 3, 2025, Friday.
The celebration began with a Holy Mass presided by Fr. James Gascon S.J. Father James talked about hard decisions, loving our parents, and having to sacrifice for the one you love. After the Mass, students and teachers went back to their classrooms, and the parents’ officers prepared a special surprise for the teachers. When the bell rang, teachers and students gathered to start the program.
The program started with the opening remarks by Mrs. Noe Mae N. Kaamiño. The Grade 1 dancers opened with a lively and energetic song called “Jolly Song for Teachers.” Then came the dancers led by Sir Luis V. Jubare Jr., Maxime Lauryl R. Seronay, Maewin E. Acosta, and Mary Anika Casiño, who sang “Golden” by Huntrix. Luisa Glaizyl L. Cahulugan sang “Takedown” by Huntrix. Ivan Lee T. Dela Peña sang “Migraine” by Moon Star 88. Xharie Vyne Pagcu gave a speech about the teachers sacrificing themselves for the students. The Grade 2 – Du Terrail offered a dance presentation led by Ma’am Cristine Jane Pia Anoos. Mrs. Darlene Magaway C. Isla also delivered an inspiring speech, saying that Teachers’ Day should not only be called Teacher’s Day but also Appreciation Day, because it is a day to honor all teachers, principal, staff, and sisters for their love and dedication. After the speeches, teachers and sisters were invited on stage as students presented their gifts and flowers. Three students – Awyne Skye G.Balaba, Kyam Chatlee D. Padua, and Noel N. Kaamiño sang a touching song to show gratitude and love for all their teachers’ hard work.
Teachers’ Day is an important day for letting teachers feel appreciated for their efforts and sacrifices. It is a special time to show them how much they are loved and respected by their students.
The students were truly thankful for their teachers’ guidance and care. Teachers’ Day reminds everyone that teachers give their time, health, and love to help students learn and grow.It was indeed a wonderful celebration – a day filled with joy, gratitude, and love for the teachers who inspire every student at Niña Maria Learning Center.
