
On September 30, 2025, Niña Maria Learning Center held its Second Science Congress at 10th – 15th Street, Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City. The event featured group presentations from Grade 4 to 6, where students showcased their Science Investigatory Projects on stage.
Students from Summer Hill School Foundation Inc. were also invited to view the projects, together with three judges from various schools who evaluated the presentations. The science projects covered different topics with creative and interesting titles that showed the students’ hard work and curiosity.
At 1:00p.m., all upper-grade students came downstairs for their project presentation to the guests, visiting students, and teachers. There were 17 science groups, each assigned with numbers for their turn to present on stage.
At around 1:30 p.m., all students, teachers, judges, and school staff gathered for the formal opening of the program. It began with a prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Teacher Kaye and Teacher Camael led the introduction of the program, and the school’s beloved principal, Ma’am Maria Flerida T. Nery gave an inspiring message to the participants.
The three judges introduce themselves and shared brief words of encouragement before the presentations officially began. The event highlighted the creativity, teamwork, and scientific curiosity of Niña Maria Learning Center pupils, making the Second Science Congress a successful and meaningful learning experience for everyone.
