Little Dreamers, Future Heroes: A Celebration of Community Helpers

The Community Helpers Culminating Program was held last September 26, 2025. The event began with a prayer led by Grade 1- Landiras students, followed by the Prayer of Saint Francis. After the prayer, the National Anthem was conducted by Jamerah C. Usman, a Grade 6- Maisonneuve student. The opening remarks was delivered by Teacher Kaye C. Villarico, Grade 5- Richelet class adviser.

After the opening, the students from Kinder 1 to Kinder 2 had a short parade. Each student proudly dressed as the community helper or professional they dream to be someday – doctors, soldiers, firefighters, teachers, nurses, and many more. After the parade, the presentation began.

The Grade 2 Du Terrail class opened with the song
Heal the World. This was followed by Grade 1- Holy Spirit, who sang Light a Little Candle for Peace. The third performers were from K2- Lestonnac, who danced to the songs We Can Be Anything and Golden. Grade 3 Seriene Coqueau then presented a poetry recital entitled I am an Artist. The fifth presentation came from K1- Motaigne, who danced to the song Roll Over the Ocean. Finally, the program closed with K2- Bordeaux, singing and dancing to Ako’y Isang Komunidad.

The program ended with inspiring closing remarks from Ms. Rodelle A. Guzman, followed by a prayer led by the K1- Monferrant pupils. Ms. Guzman reminded everyone that the Community Helpers Program is a time to celebrate dreams. Every child has a dream, and through this activity, students are encouraged to dream big for their future careers. She also emphasized that a community becomes stronger when everyone helps, no matter how big or small the effort may be.

This celebration was not only a showcase of talents and future dreams but also a reminder that even at a young age, children can already make a difference – at home, in school, and in the community.

“Dream big, start small, and shine bright – because every great future begins with today’s title dreamers.”
