Youth Camp 2006

400th Foundation Anniversary of the Order of the Company of Mary Our Lady Youth Camp ODN-Philippines

More than a hundred young people from different areas of ODN apostolate came together for the first time to an ODN Youth Camp last December 1-2, 2006 at Lestonnac Youth Center, Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City.

From Iligan City came the members of Lestonnac Peer Circle and the Core Group of Leaders of the Catholic Center Campus Ministry; those who were from Cagayan de Oro City belong to Lestonnac Flame Circle of Xavier University and the Youth for Better Future of Tambo, Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City.

The two-day activity was truly unforgettable. In so short a time all felt belonging to a big family of ODN youth in the Philippines whose bond of friendship and commitment to journey with each other could definitely go beyond teenage/college years.

We left Lestonnac Youth Center accompanied by significant encounters, images, and memories, keeping the experience alive and burning in our hearts...FOR LOVE AND LIFE!!! 

Companionship is simply
putting on your shoes, and
at its rhythm, deciphering one by one
the mysteries of the human heart.
To accompany is to take on a challenge,
take a mission, begin an adventure,
contemplate a mystery,
 listen to a beat, pronounce a hope,
probe a heart,
 witness a miracle.

The Company of Mary Sisters (ODN) - 400 years inspiring life, asking new questions… always going beyond, confident that Jesus is our companion; always bringing to heart His words:  

"Do not let the fire I have lit in your heart die out."
